Family Claims Trumbull Surgery Center Staff Negligence Led to Man's Death
The suit claims staff accidentally administered the wrong drug during a procedure.

A new lawsuit filed by the family of a Stratford man who died at a surgery center in Trumbull claims staff negligence led to his death.
The lawsuit was filed against the Surgery Center of Fairfield County by family members of Michael Palmer Sr., 53, according to the Connecticut Post. Palmer was the father of eight.
The suit claims that Palmer was undergoing a cervical spine fusion in May 2013 at the center. He originally wanted the surgery done at a hospital, but staff persuaded him otherwise, according to the suit. Some members of the medical team were part owners of the center.
