Fatal Trumbull Heroin Overdose Leads to Prison Time for Man
The man will serve a prison sentence following the fatal overdose of a woman in Trumbull.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was sentenced to nearly four years of prison following a fatal overdose in Trumbull.
Emergency responders went to the overdose scene Aug. 18, 2016 and found an unresponsive 25-year-old female. She was later declared dead, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office.
Empty wax folds that contained heroin were found in a pocketbook.

An analysis of text messages on the victim's phone showed that she bought heroin from Jevaughn Watson, 23m and had ordered from him several times over two months.
Watson was sentenced to 46 months in prison. He pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin.
