Four Arrested, Stolen Car Recovered: Trumbull PD
Four people were arrested and a stolen car was recovered during a search for people wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.
TRUMBULL, CT — Four people were arrested and a stolen car was recovered after police conducted a warrant sweep in Trumbull Feb. 20.
Detectives and other local police agencies coordinated an effort to track down people wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.
During the search police came upon a car that was stolen Feb. 19 from the LA Fitness parking lot at the Trumbull mall. The vehicle was stopped near Chopsey Hill Road and Reservoir Avenue. Operator Elijah Watkins, 20, of Bridgeport was arrested, said Lt. Brian Weir, police spokesman.

Watkins was charged with second-degree larceny.

- Anthony Flores, 21, of Bridgeport, who was charged with conspiracy to commit criminal mischief after an office building on Silver Lane was vandalized.
- Daniel Reyes, 20, of Bridgeport was charged with first-degree criminal mischief for the same alleged vandalization.
- Roberto Rodriguez, 55, of Bridgeport was charged with fourth-degree sex assault, unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct. Rodriguez assaulted a female resident while doing plumbing repair work at a home, Weir said.
