Gun Arrest Made In Trumbull
Two handguns, drugs and cash were seized after a motor vehicle stop, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police seized two handguns, marijuana, heroin and cash after a motor vehicle stop Feb. 1.
An officer stopped a vehicle on Main Street near Old Town Road for an equipment violation, according to Capt. Keith Golding, police spokesman. The officer smelled marijuana when he approached the vehicle and noticed an open container of liquor on the floor.
The operator and another passenger had a small amount of marijuana on them. Front seat passenger Tiyesse Boone, 22, of Bridgeport had more than eighty bags of heroin, several hundred dollars in cash and two loaded handguns, Golding said. One gun had an extended magazine and the serial numbers on one of the handguns was obscured.

Boone was charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, possession of a high capacity magazine, alteration of a firearm, two counts of criminal possession of a firearm and a weapon in a motor vehicle. Bond was set at $150,000.
