Heat Restored At Trumbull Library Following Mechanical Issue

The library reopened Wednesday after shutting down Tuesday due to a mechanical issue resulting in a loss of heat.

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Library reopened Wednesday after shutting down Tuesday due to a mechanical issue resulting in a loss of heat in the building.

According to the town website, heat was restored to the main lobby and the building was able to reopen Wednesday at 10 a.m.

On Tuesday, town officials said the main library would likely remain closed for at least part of the day Wednesday due to the mechanical problem.

The Fairchild-Nichols Memorial Branch library remained open while the main library was closed.
