Here's Where Trumbull Ranks Among Top Places To Live In CT For 2023

Rankings website Niche.com just published its 2023 list of the "best places to live in Connecticut." Where does Trumbull fall on the list?

TRUMBULL, CT — According to Rankings website Niche.com, Trumbull is the No. 72 best place to live in Connecticut.

Niche.com gives Trumbull an overall "A-" score, and Trumbull receives an "A+" for its public schools and an "A" for being good for families. Trumbull was ranked #25 in Suburbs with the Best Public Schools in Connecticut, according to Niche.com.

Trumbull also received a "B+" for its diversity, a "B-" for its housing and crime and safety and a "C+" for its nightlife.

According to Niche.com, the median average home value in Trumbull is $399,200 and the rent is $2,032 a month. The median household income in Trumbull is $122,451.

Trumbull is ranked No. 33 in "Best Suburbs to Raise a Family in Connecticut," No. 34 for "Best Suburbs to Live in Connecticut" and No. 50 for "Best Suburbs For Young Professionals In Connecticut." (Read more about Trumbull's rankings here).

West Hartford was once again deemed to be the No. 1 place to live in CT for 2023. The Hartford suburb garnered an overall "A+" grade, and copped top marks for its public schools, family friendliness, and the health/fitness of its residents. It was also No. 1 on the list of the best suburbs in the state.

For its scores, Niche drew upon data from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey, the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Uniformed Crime Report, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Climatic Data Center, the US Department of Agriculture's Food Environment Atlas and other sources, as well as millions of resident reviews.
