Home Health Aide Stole From Client: Trumbull PD

Nearly $2,000 in cash was taken, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A home health aide is accused of stealing more than $1,000 from a client, according to police.

The victim told police in January 2018 that the aide took money from a wallet and $1,800 from a lock box along with a gold necklace. There was also an attempt to take $1,000 from an American Express card, police said.

Sylvens Rene, 40, of East Hartford was charged with fourth-degree larceny.
