Internal Theft At Trumbull Mall Leads To Arrest: PD
A woman stole money from the register, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport woman was arrested after she committed internal theft while working as an assistant manager at the Justice store in the Trumbull mall, according to police.
Police began investigating in June 2016 after internal theft was noticed.
Beverly Hunt, 23, took nearly $1,200 in cash between May and June 2016 by doing fraudulent cash refunds, police said. She also admitted to taking $250 worth of merchandise without paying, police said. A warrant was drafted for her arrest

Bridgeport Police picked Hunt up on another matter and she was turned over to Trumbull authorities Oct. 4. She was charged with fourth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear.
