Intoxicated Trumbull Mom Drove With Kids In Car: PD
Police stopped the woman after her daughter texted her brother about her mother's unsafe driving condition, police said.
TRUMBULL, CT — A 43-year-old Trumbull woman was arrested after she was found to be driving while under the influence with two of her children in the car, according to police.
The son of the woman went to police on Aug. 28 and said one of his younger sisters texted him and was concerned about how the mother was driving. She relayed their location and police went and stopped the vehicle on Park Avenue.
Victoria Hwang failed field sobriety tests and her BAC was .184 and .181, according to police.

She was charged with two counts of risk of injury and DUI.
