Juvenile Charged with Car Thefts: Trumbull PD
A resident called police to report two males entering vehicles.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police charged a 17-year-old Stratford resident in connection with car thefts.
A Jerusalem Hill resident called police April 23 after 5 a.m. to report two males attempting to enter parked cars. Two males took off running and the resident pointed officers in their direction. One suspect was found hiding in a nearby driveway and the other suspect wasn't located, police said.
Both suspects had arrived in a vehicle stolen from Stratford and left nearby, according to police. Several additional vehicle keys were found and one of the keys was linked to a second stolen vehicle.

The captured juvenile was charged with larceny, conspiracy and criminal trespass.
"Detectives are continuing to investigate in order to identify the second suspect and possibly identify other vehicles involved," said Lt. Douglas Smith.
