Knifepoint Robbery Reported in Trumbull

A suspect robbed the Shell station at 111 Monroe Turnpike at knifepoint, police sid.

The incident happneed June 19 around 9:30 p.m.

The suspect concaled his face and pulled a knife at an employee behind the counter. He demanded cash and escaped the store with an undetermined amount of money.

He was last seen fleeing on foot.

A K-9 track was unsuccessful. Police continue to investigate.
