TRUMBULL, CT — Construction activities are scheduled to resume this week on two town roads, and intermittent lane and road closures are expected, Trumbull officials announced.
According to the town website, construction will resume Friday on Williams and Edison roads as part of an ongoing drainage improvement project.
Drivers should "expect intermittent lane and road closures" as work progresses in the area, according to the town.

Traffic control measures and detour signage will be in place as needed, town officials said.
Construction is anticipated to be completed by September, weather permitting.

"We appreciate your patience and cooperation during these important infrastructure improvements," a notice on the town website reads. "Please use caution when traveling through the work zone and allow extra travel time when possible."
