First Selectman Tim Herbst has proposed a budget that eliminates funding for a youth theater workshop program, according to the Connecticut Post.

The town would save $58,000 by eliminating funding for the program, which takes in $69,000 in revenues itself. Herbst said it doesn’t equate to shutting down the program.
