Macy's Shoplifter Arrested: Trumbull PD
He tried to steal several items from the jewelry department.
TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after he was caught stealing four necklaces worth $100 each from Macy's in the mall, according to police.
Security called police from the mall to say they were in a fight with a suspected shoplifter, but the fight got under control by the time police arrived.
Timothy Maclean, 44, was also found in possession of crack paraphernalia, a knife and pliers. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny, possession of a shoplifting device and possession of drug paraphernalia.
