Man Arrested For DUI Twice In 3 Days: Trumbull PD
He was involved in a crash in Trumbull, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull man was arrested for DUI after a minor crash in town, according to police. He was charged with DUI by Fairfield Police two days prior.
An officer drove by a minor crash scene the morning of Oct. 16 where the two parties decided to exchange information and go their separate ways. The officer noticed one of the cars was driving erratically after leaving the scene and was unregistered.
Driver John Cadra, 34, appeared to be under the influence of a drug. Fairfield Police sent their drug recognition expert to the scene who performed the field sobriety test. Cadra failed, police said. He refused a urine test at police headquarters.

A K-9 found empty heroin folds and methadone containers in the vehicle, police said.
Cadra was charged with DUI, operating an unregistered vehicle, operating without a license and failure to insure a vehicle.
