Man Arrested for Pills in Sock: Trumbull PD

The pills were found after a pat down search, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT—A Bridgeport man was arrested after Oxycontin pills were found in his sock.

Police pulled over a vehicle that had no front licence plate July 28.

Jamar Robinson, 28, handed over a small bag of marijuana when asked if there were any drugs in the vehicle, police said.

During a pat down the pills were found in his sock.

Robinson said he takes the pills for pain because he just had a new grill installed on his teeth. They aren't prescribed to him, police said.

He was charged with possession of narcotics, failure to keep drugs in original container and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
