Man Assaulted By Stranger At Trumbull Stop And Shop: PD

The bizarre incident ended with a woman being arrested.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull woman was arrested after she assaulted a stranger in Stop and Shop Sept. 17, according to police.

The victim told police that a woman later identified as Karina Gullien, 26, asked him how his coffee was and he replied that it was just ok, police said. That apparently perturbed her and she knocked over a case of soda cans.

Later on while shopping the man came across Gullien again and asked what her problem was, police said. She said he was her problem and then knocked his glasses off his face.
