Man Assaulted In Trumbull Park: PD
The assailants demanded money from the victim, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A 60-year-old man was assaulted in Twin Brooks Park Sunday afternoon by three assailants, according to police.
The man was walking in the park around 2 p.m. when an older grey colored car drove past him. A young man got out of the car and punched him in the head, said Capt. Keith Golding, police spokesman.
Two other young men got out of the car and kicked the victim as he lay on the ground. They demanded money, but the victim said he didn't have any. They then threw the man into the road and drove off toward Franklin Street.

The victim got a partial license plate from the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 203-261-3665 or at the online anonymous tip line.
