Man Charged With Operating Drug Factory: Trumbull PD

Officers found marijuana, THC-laced edibles and other drug paraphernalia in his vehicle, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — A local man was arrested for operating a drug factory after officers found marijuana, THC edibles, and a small amount of MDMA in his vehicle, according to police.

Police were called to the area of Magnolia Road and Randall Drive Dec. 22 on a report of an operator slumped over the wheel. EMS also arrived to assess the man's medical condition.

Kevin Komaromi, 32, of Trumbull refused medical treatment and appeared to be under the influence, police said. A K-9 unit detected the presence of drugs in the vehicle.

A backpack with a mason jar filled with marijuana, several plastic bags with different marijuana brand names, 16 bags of THC-laced candy and THC-laced brownies were found in the vehicle, police said. A small amount of pink powder on a $20 bill tested positive for MDMA, police said. Police also found a clear plastic bag with several different pills inside.

Komaromi was charged with operating a drug factory, possession with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
