Man Commits Fraud at Bank: Trumbull PD
He tried to withdraw money from a victim's account.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bronx man was arrested after he tried to withdraw money from another person's account, police said.
Police responded to Chase Bank on Quality Street May 3. The bank got an alert from a nearby Chase bank to be on the lookout for a tall black male who was suspected of committing fraudulent activity, police said.
The man who fit the description came into the bank and tried to withdraw money from the victim's account. He presented a driver's license and a credit card with the victim's name, but couldn't answer questions about the account, such as when it was opened, police said.

Police made contact with the victim who confirmed his identity. Police eventually determined the man at the bank was Morris Simpson, 34.
Simpson was charged with third-degree larceny, third-degree identity theft, third and second-degree forgery, interfering with police and criminal attempt.
