TRUMBULL, CT — A Seymour man was arrested after he drove up to 70 mph down Main Street while intoxicated, according to police.
Officers pulled Carlos Pereira, 43, over on July 25 after his vehicle sped through town, ran red lights and drove over the double-yellow line, police said.
Pereira didn't know where he was and failed field sobriety tests. Officers noted that a water bottle that had a red liquid in it smelled of alcohol inside the vehicle, according to police.
