Man Faces Firearm-Related Charge In Trumbull
A man who turned over his guns following a domestic arrest faces another charge due to a gun missing a serial number, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A man previously arrested for a domestic incident in October 2017 faces additional charges after officers seized a gun from him that had a filed off serial number, according to police.
Jack Fernandes, 47, turned his guns over to Trumbull Police following the arrest per state law.
Police noticed his Rohm RG 10 .22 caliber handgun's serial number had been altered, police said. Police served the new arrest warrant for illegal alteration of a firearm identification on Feb. 8. He was released on a promise to appear.
