Man Flees Wrong-Way Trumbull Crash: PD
A man evaded Bridgeport Police and then left the scene of a crash in Trumbull, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after he fled a Trumbull crash scene shortly after he fled from Bridgeport Police.
Lee Bember, 30, fled Bridgeport Police around 7 p.m. March 3. Police stopped the pursuit as he entered the Reservoir Avenue area of Trumbull, police said.
Shortly after Trumbull Police responded to a crash on White Plains Road.

The offending Audi drove on the wrong side of the road and another vehicle swerved to avoid a collision and went off-road, police said.
Bember was identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Westport Police had stopped him March 25 and he was turned over to Trumbull Police for arrest. He was charged with evading responsibility, failure to drive right and unsafe passing. He was held on $10,000 bail.
