TRUMBULL, CT — A Stamford man was arrested Saturday morning after he was found sleeping in a car parked in Trumbull with over a pound of marijuana inside, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Brian Weir said the department received a report around 9 a.m. of a vehicle parked overnight on Woodridge Circle with its engine running.
Officers located the Honda Accord and found two men sleeping inside. Additionally, the car's registration plate was found to be from another vehicle, Weir said.

An officer who noticed a strong odor of marijuana inside the car also found a backpack containing large clear bags of marijuana, as well as more than 70 smaller bags of marijuana weighing in at over one-and-a-half pounds and packaged for future sales, according to Weir.
The driver, Enzo Aleman, 19, of Stamford, told police the men were in Bridgeport the night before but got lost and decided to park in Trumbull to take a nap. Aleman also said the marijuana was all his and the passenger had no part in it, Weir said.
