The Shelton man was arrested in Trumbull.

A man looking to collect $5,000 that a lawyer’s client allegedly owed him got a pair of silver bracelets courtesy of Trumbull Police after he reportedly caused a disturbance at law firm.

William Bonitati, 55, of Shelton went to a law firm on Main Street and said that one of the lawyer’s clients owed him money. The man had called the attorney several times and left long voicemail messages.

Bonitati went to the office on Sept. 18 and yelled at a secretary to see the attorney directly. Bonitati, who is about 6’5’’ and weighs at least 350 pounds caused the woman to cry hysterically in fear, police said.
