Man Pleads Guilty to Heroin Charge Stemming from Trumbull Overdose Death
A 25-year-old female died in Trumbull of an overdose.

TRUMBULL, CT—A Bridgeport man pleaded guilty in U.S. District court to distributing heroin that was involved in a fatal Trumbull overdose death.
Police responded to a Trumbull home Aug. 18 and found an unresponsive 25-yer-old female in a bedroom. She was pronounced dead shortly after, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office.
Several empty wax folds and some wax folds that contained heroin were found. Analysis of text messages determined that the victim ordered heroin from Jevaughn Watson, 23, of Bridgeport several times over two months.

Watson was arrested Sept. 7 and Thursday he pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin. He faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in February.
