Man Stole $600 Worth Of Drills From Home Depot: Trumbull PD

The man grabbed the drills and exited the store without paying, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after he stole two Dewalt drills worth $299 each from Home Depot, according to police.

The theft occurred in February 2020 after a man grabbed the drills and exited the store without paying, police said. Home Depot loss prevention personnel spoke to surrounding store and identified the man as Dwayne Brown, 46.

Police also identified the suspect as Brown and issued an arrest warrant. Brown was picked up by Seymour Police and was brought to court on May 6. He was charged with fifth-degree larceny.
