Man Thought Trumbull Cop Warning Was Fake, He Was Wrong: PD
The man was arrested for harassing his sister and brother-in-law, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT- A Bronx man claimed he thought his sister and brother-in-law were pulling his leg when a Trumbull officer called and warned him not to contact them. He was wrong, police said.
Joseph Sanacore, 50, turned himself to police on June 2 on an active arrest warrant for second-degree harassment.
The warrant dates back to 2012 when an Aspen Lane couple told police that the woman's brother wouldn't stop contacting them despite previous warnings, police said.

Police in Norwalk previously warned Sanacore not to contact them. A Trumbull officer called Sanacore, identified himself as an officer and warned him there could be criminal repercussions if he didn't stop, police said. Sanacore hung up on him.
Sanacore called the couple later that night and left a message on voicemail. He said he didn't think the Trumbull officer was really an officer and that he was a friend of the couple. Police warned him again and later a warrant was applied for and approved.
