Marching Competition at Trumbull High School Saturday

The Trumbull High School Golden Eagle Marching Band will host its 33rd annual Fall Classic competition at Trumbull High School on Saturday, September 26th starting at 5:00.

The Classic gives our own award winning high school marching band the opportunity to showcase its talent and host a large number of regional bands. This year’s line up will be slightly different as we have added other bands to the program.

In addition to the 8 area high musical units that include Naugatuck, Brien McMahon, and Norwalk; there will also be 2 local University Bands, Sacred Heart University from Fairfield CT and the University of New Haven from New Haven. We are also pleased to announce that crowd will be entertained this year by 2 local Alumni Corps. They are the Westchester Brassman from Harrison , NY and the Park City Pride from Bridgeport.

These 2 groups bring a lot experience and fun to each and every event they participate in. The event will also showcase our middle school bands performing the National Anthem at approximately 4:45. The event will have vendors, food and other booths showcasing music and band related merchandise. The Golden Eagles will perform their show ‘Contellations’ at approximately 8:15.

The band is 152 members strong this year and continue their tradition of award winning performances. The Trumbull High School Golden Eagle Marching Band is the largest program at Trumbull High and is nationally recognized at various events and competitions.

This year’s show will not disappoint as the Eagle’s will debut the closing piece for the first time publically. The Fall Classic is the only home show during the marching band season, so we encourage everyone to join us at Trumbull High School. Gates open at 4:15, Adult tickets, $12. Seniors and Students, $8. Kids under 5 are free.
