The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The single most pressing issue facing the town is always taxes. We want to maintain a stable tax increase while affording seniors to be able to stay in their homes and provide the next generation affordability to be able to move here. We want to attract new businesses to Trumbull to give our residents the option to work and live and play in their hometown. I can offer my management skills in fine tuning a budget as a business owner who knows how to survive in a changing financial climate.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

The critical difference between me and other candidates is I was born and raised in Trumbull and respect the past, but know we have to adapt to a changing world. I have dealt successfully with many different teams, and personnel and know how to work in a cooperate manner to get to a common ground. When this is accomplished Trumbull wins!

Accomplishments:

My track record proves that I am a level headed person who has hopefully earned the support to serve as a Town Council Representative. I have had the opportunity to serve on the following committees in town.

Current Trumbull Babe Ruth League President
Current Trumbull Travel Baseball Director
Former member of Trumbull BOE Policy Committee
Former Trumbull High Football Search Committee Participant

Other issues:

My career as a coach and mentor to hundreds of families in Trumbull has given me the skills to work well with others. I have been to many towns in Connecticut and know what infrastructure they have or don't. I would be creative and try to seek corporate funds to invest in the town to help us with a pool or community center. Try to encourage department heads to think out of the box to find cost savings or a way to combine services. You can't cut taxes without lowering expenses.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

What residents should know about me, is I truly love this town and appreciate everything it has offered my family. It is my time to give back and preserve the reputation of Trumbull for the next generation. I humbly ask for your vote for Town Council Representative for District 1 on Tuesday, and November 2nd.
