Mother Arrested For Assaulting Infant: Trumbull PD
The 2-month-old had serious head and rib injuries, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull woman was arrested after she assaulted her two-month-old infant, according to police.
Trumbull Police went to Yale-New Haven Hospital June 7 to investigate after the baby was found to have serious head, rib and other injuries.
Mother Larissa Quick, 34, at first told police that her 2-year-old child struck the baby in the head with a toy, police said. The baby got irritable, lethargic and vomited a few days later. Police determined through an investigation that the 2-year-old couldn't have caused the injuries. Quick turned herself in on a warrant Sept. 25. She was charged with second-degree assault and risk of injury to a child. She is free on $25,000 bond.
