Mother Leaves 3 Kids Alone In Car At Mall: Trumbull PD
The kids were 2.5-years-old and 5-years-old, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport woman was arrested after she left her children alone in a cold car at the Trumbull mall, according to police
Police responded to the mall April 2 around 5 p.m. after getting a call about three children left alone in a vehicle. Officers forced entry into the vehicle to get the young children out and let them warm up in another vehicle.
Two of the children were 2-and-a-half years old and the other was 5-years-old.

Mother Sheena Ruffin, 35, told police she let an acquaintance drive her children in her car to the mall, but didn't provide much more detail than that, police said.
Police arrested her by warrant June 5. She was charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit risk of injury to a minor.
