New Head Football Coach Hired At Trumbull High

TRUMBULL, CT — Longtime Westport Staples High School coach Marce Petroccio has accepted an offer to become the next head football coach at Trumbull High School.

Petroccio coached at Trumbull in the early 1990's before taking the Staples job, according to GameTime CT.

Petroccio said he has been offered many high school and college level football jobs over the past 25 years while at Staples, but the only job he would contemplate leaving it for was the Trumbull position.
