New Principal Named At Frenchtown Elementary

TRUMBULL, CT — Gina Prisco has been appointed as the principal of Frenchtown Elementary School.

Prisco comes from Beecher Road Elementary School in Woodbridge where she served as principal for the past seven years. She was an assistant principal in West Haven before that.

She will officially begin her Frenchtown role Aug. 5. She holds a sixth year diploma in educational leadership from Southern Connecticut State University, a master of science degree in science education from SCSU and a bachelor degree in elementary education from SCSU.

"Mrs. Prisco was most impressive in the interview process which included a committee consisting of representation from thestaff and parent community," said Superintendent Dr. Gary Cialfi.
