Obituary: Domenico Nobili, 74, Of Trumbull

Domenico Nobili, age 74, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Luigia (Verderame) Nobili.

Born in Ceccano, province of Frosinone, Italy on September 25, 1948, he was a son of the late Giovanni and Rosa (Iaboni) Nobili. Mr. Nobili came to the United States in 1970 and worked as a cheese maker at Roma Cheese in Bridgeport before becoming a machinist at Bridgeport Machine for many years. He enjoyed working around his yard and tending to his gardens.

Domenico also enjoyed making homemade pasta which everyone always raved about. A loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend of many, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his beloved wife Gina of 45 years, other survivors include his loving children, John, Domenic Jr, Marco and Danielle Nobili, all of Trumbull, his brothers, Luigi and Liviano Nobili, his brothers-in-law, Valentino and John Verderame and his sisters-in-law, Theresa, Margherita and Silvana. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Ave., Bridgeport. Entombment in the St. Catherine Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull will follow. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
