Obituary: Doris Angliss Fagan, 92, Of Trumbull

Doris M. Angliss Fagan, age 92, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Born in Bridgeport on May 1, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Annette (Bruffee) Angliss and was a longtime resident of Trumbull.

Doris was a devoted lifelong parishioner of the Long Hill United Methodist Church in Trumbull. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and talking to friends on the telephone. Most recently she could be found reading, working on a word search puzzle, watching the NY Yankees or sneaking off to buy something on QVC but her greatest joy came from spending time with her cherished granddaughters.

Survivors include three loving children, Karen Fisher, Doreen Anderson and Brian Fagan all of Trumbull, a brother, Robert Angliss and his wife Eleanor and three granddaughters, Jennifer & Kristen Fisher and Nicole Anderson as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, William Fagan, Jr., a sister, Ruth Crumb and brother-in-law, Roy Crumb.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 12 p.m. in Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will be private. Friends may greet the family on Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
