Obituary: Edward Evans Sr., 76, Of Trumbull

Edward J. Evans Sr. age 76, of Trumbull, passed away May 12, 2022 in his home. Mr. Evans was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late George and Dorothy Evans.

Ed was a longtime Trumbull resident and Highway Supervisor for the Town, where he had many friends. He enjoyed watching his St. Louis Cardinals, fishing, and gambling.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Theresa Irene (Falco) Evans.

Survivors include his devoted children Tracy Evans and her partner Andrew Kazlauskas and Edward Evans Jr. and his wife Jessica; his brother William Evans and sister Dorothy Evans; cherished grandchildren Matthew, Sara, and Gabriel; great-grandchildren Isabella, Ayden and Lilah; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and friends and family are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment in Nichols Village Cemetery.
