Obituary: Emilia Milowski Burns, 98, Of Trumbull
She enjoyed playing sports and was one of the Original Raybestos Brackettes playing Centerfield.

Emilia Milowski Burns, age 98, of Trumbull, CT passed away January 22, 2024 at Bishop Wicke Health Center surrounded by her family.
She was born in Clinton, MA to the late Thomas and Anna Milowski. Emilia was one of eight siblings. She enjoyed playing sports and was one of the Original Raybestos Brackettes playing Centerfield. She retired from Schick and during her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the casino and playing Bingo, her favorite pastime.

She was married to the late Donald Burns Jr. with whom she had five children.
Emilia is survived by her daughter Deborah Leonzi (Raymond Sr.) of Trumbull, CT, Wayne Burns of Charlotte, NC, Mark Burns (Mary) of Seymour, CT, Robert Burns of New London, CT and Scott Burns (Judy) of Charlotte, NC.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Raymond Leonzi Jr. (Angela), Michael Leonzi (Lina), Wayne Burns Jr., Jay Burns (Caite) and Kellee Burns (Evan).
Emilia was blessed with seven great grandchildren Raymond, Abigail, Michael, Ryan, JayLynn, Christopher and our family's newest Audrey and many nieces and nephews.
Emilia has one surviving sister Bertha Hartman (Larry).
She was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Genevieve and Nicholas Steiz, Stephanie and John Norko, Lucy and Tony Quaranta, Stanley and Marge Milowski, Edward Milowski, Chester and Ginny Milo.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at Bishop Wicke Health Center, especially Pavilion 4 where she had excellent care for the past one and a half years.
We love her and will miss her dearly. Mom now can play Bingo everyday.
Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Burial to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
