Obituary: Jennie M. Alfano, 97, Of Trumbull

Jennie M. Alfano, age 97, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2022 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Alfano, Jr.

Born in Bridgeport on June 26, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Carolina (Diometo) Caraciola. Mrs. Alfano had worked for many years as an inspector for AVCO Lycoming before her retirement.

Jennie was a talented musician and enjoyed playing the piano and also singing. She enjoyed art and was quite a gifted drawer. She enjoyed frequent trips to the casino with family and friends and also enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio on occasion. She was happiest however when surrounded by her family.

A loving and devoted wife, mother grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving children, Maryanne Giovanni and her husband Robert of Trumbull, Anthony Alfano, III of Derby and Robert Alfano and his wife Linda of Shelton, her cherished grandchildren, Nicole Alfano of NC and Jennifer Alfano of NH, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Anthony, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Dominick Caraciola and her sister, Rose Alfano.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Huntington Lawn Cemetery East, Huntington. Friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
