Obituary: Joseph Leo Sheridan Jr., 85, Of Trumbull

Joseph Leo Sheridan, Jr., 85, of Trumbull, CT, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023. He was born in New Haven, CT to the late Joseph Leo Sr. and Mary (Fox) Sheridan.

Joe graduated from the University of New Haven with a degree in criminal justice. He retired as a special agent with the FBI after 40 years of service. Joe enjoyed playing bocce, cards, music, but especially cherished spending time at the Berkshire's and Naples, FL home with friends and family.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Maureen (Lavin) Sheridan and his sister Dorothea Bartek.

Survivors include his four children Eileen Sheridan, Martha Brennan, Brian Sheridan and Maura Kjar (Thomas); five cherished grandchildren, Carly & Conor Brennan, Jonathan Stelmaszek, Timothy & Lindsay Kjar; several brother and sister in laws & many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a mass on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull, CT. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's name to ASPCA at www.aspca.org.
