Obituary: Virginia E. Silos Marcinowski, 77, Of Trumbull

Virginia E. Silos Marcinowski, age 77, of Trumbull, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on January 1, 1945, she was a daughter of the late John and Jean (Leslie) Silos.

Virginia worked at Fairfield Country Day School for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the Trumbull Senior Center and being outdoors where she enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Her happiest moments came from spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and they will always remember all the delicious baked treats she made over the years.

Survivors include her four loving children, Jerry Raynor and his wife Elina, Richard Raynor and wife Kimberly, Robert Raynor and his wife Jessica and Michelle Zacchia, two sisters, Elaine DelVento and her husband Russell, Patricia Sniffen and her husband Elmer and seven grandchildren, Andrea, Christina & Katie Raynor, Aiden, Sean & Caitlin Zacchia and Brandon Raynor as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Nick, John and Paul Silos and a sister, June Sokec.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
