Bill had a love of music that began at a young age. After his time serving in the U.S. Army in Vicenza, Italy, he continued to travel throughout Europe, working as a musician. After returning to the United States, Bill continued playing music, met and married his wife Maureen, and they traveled throughout the country, eventually settling in Trumbull.
Bill worked for the State of Connecticut for 29 years, and retired as a permit inspector, allowing him more time to pursue his love of golf (he was a four handicap!) In addition to golf, Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, watching UConn basketball, and spoiling his granddogs.
