Two adult children.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?

No.

Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?

No.

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

As a lifelong Trumbull resident, I now have time to give back to my community.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

I am concerned about the loss of businesses in Trumbull. Long term I believe this will harm the tax base and further shift the tax burden to the residents of the town.

The building of large apartment complexes is also a concern as it will also increase the tax burden on current residents.

My goal is to work to increase business growth in Trumbull and proceed cautiously in the building of new apartments.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I think it is important we listen to all sides of the story without bias to party affiliation.

If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

President for 20 years of local lake association.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Assume good intentions.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am open-minded person and thrilled to be running on a multi party ticket that has good of ALL Trumbull residents in mind.
