Two K-9 units came to the scene and alerted to the presence of marijuana in the cabin and the trunk, police said. A very small amount was found in the cabin. No marijuana was found in the trunk, but officers found a container of 30 oxycodone pills.

Both women said the vehicle was a friend’s. The friend, identified as Samnang Touch, 34, of Hamden came to the scene and said the pills and vehicle belonged to him and that the women were borrowing the vehicle.
