Pickleball, Tennis Courts At Trumbull Park To Temporarily Close On Weekdays: Town

The park's pickleball and tennis courts will be temporarily closed for a few hours on weekdays as improvements are made to the facility.

TRUMBULL, CT — The pickleball and tennis courts at Tashua Knolls Park will be closed for a few hours on weekdays for about two weeks beginning Monday, the town announced this week.

According to the town website, the courts at Tashua will be closed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for approximately two weeks, which will allow the town to install new sidewalks and accessible pathways at the facility.

The town plans to reach out to anyone with an existing reservation during these hours to help them relocate their booking to another park or a later time slot, according to the website.

Tashua Knolls Park has four tennis courts and two tennis courts with lights, as well as eight pickleball courts with lights, according to the Trumbull Parks and Recreation website.

  • Island Brook Park - One tennis court, six pickleball courts.

  • Unity Park - Two tennis courts, six pickleball courts .
