Police Search for Webster Bank Robber in Trumbull

Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Webster Bank located at 2 Daniels Farm Road this afternoon.

Around 2 p.m. a man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, said Lt. Leonard Scinto, police spokesman.

The man then fled on foot and was tracked a short distance by a K-9 unit before the scent was lost, Scinto said. An undetermined amount of cash was taken.
