Postal Worker Commits Credit Card Fraud: Trumbull PD

The worker stole several credit cards and used them fraudulently, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport woman is facing numerous credit card fraud charges after she was found to be stealing credit cards at her job as a postal worker, accoridng to police.

Police began investigating in July 2017 when a victim reported ID theft. A credit card in the victims name was used several times July 18 for a loss of $544.

Police obtained video of a suspect using the card. Police then began investigating cases of a similar nature and found more video evidence of the same suspect using those cards, police said.

Police put a release on social media asking the public to help them identify the suspect. A postal inspector called and said he recognized the woman as a postal worker.

Felicia Rogers, 26, was charged with four counts of third-degree forgery, four counts of third-degree identity theft, three counts of receipt from illegal use of a credit card, two counts of fifth-degree larceny, two counts of sixth-degree larceny and other credit card fraud charges.

Bond was set at $25,000.
