Primary Enrollment Session Information Released For Trumbull Voters

The Registrar of Voters office will be open for registration or enrollment of electors able to vote in the presidential preference primary.

Information via the town of Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Registrar of Voters office will be open Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the purpose of registration or enrollment of electors entitled to vote in the upcoming presidential preference primary.

The presidential primary is scheduled to take place in Connecticut on April 2, however early voting will also be available for some residents.

The following voter information was shared to the town website Friday:

  1. If you are 17 years of age, and will be 18 on or before Election Day, you are eligible to register and vote in the April primary.
  2. When switching from one party to another, there is a 3-month waiting period to gain new party privilege.
  3. To change party affiliation, you must fill out a new voter registration card indicating you wish to do so, and what your new party is. This can be done in person at the Registrar of Voters office or online at myvote.ct.gov.
  4. The Republican and Democratic primaries will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  5. Early Voting will be held at Trumbull Town Hall on March 26, 27, 28, 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Absentee ballot information and applications are handled through the town clerk's office, which can be reached by phone at 203-452-5035.
