5/16/23 Update: The work to renovate the bridge has been awarded to Zeiss Construction Group. The work has begun and is ahead of schedule. Currently the work is approximately 75 percent complete, with full completion anticipated soon.

The trail will be open from Old Mine Park and from Tait Road up to the bridge location, but access to cross the bridge will be unavailable during bridge reconstruction.
