Ring in a Healthier New Year with the Trumbull Health Department

Learn the skills necessary to achieve and maintain healthy behaviors with Healthy Resolutions

As the holiday season winds down, many Trumbull residents will begin setting their New Year resolutions in anticipation of a healthier 2018. To help residents create realistic resolutions and to stay on track to achieve their 2018 goals, the Trumbull Health Department is offering a free four-week program on Wednesdays this January. The Healthy Resolutions program will address common New Year resolutions, such as losing weight or becoming more physically active, and some less common goals, such as improving communication with others and tracking progress.

Beginning on January 10, the Healthy Resolutions program will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:00pm at the Helen Plumb Building (571 Church Hill Road, Trumbull) and will run for four consecutive weeks. The program will focus on a different healthy resolution each week, providing attendees with the skills necessary to achieve their goals and maintain healthy behaviors. Each session builds on the skills learned in the previous session, and will include short lectures, group discussions, and skills-building to help attendees welcome a healthier 2018.
